Janet L. O'Such

Janet L. (Haas) O'Such wife of John V. O'Such of Lower Pottsgrove Township passed away on Monday Janaury 27, 2020 at Pottstown Hospital. Born in Sanatoga, PA she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Rose (Kozak) Haas. Mrs. O'Such had worked as an executive secretary at the former Bethlehem Corp. of Pottstown, PA . She was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C. Janet was a musician who performed in the tri-state area, New England, Florida and many appearances at numerous Catskill Resorts; also, in Europe including Italy, Austria, Germany, Czechoslovakia, and Poland. Janet was featured on numerous record albums. For many years she hosted a radio show where she was known as "Polka Janet". She coordinated many Polka events at the Sunnybrook Ballroom. Janet dearly loved her family and enjoyed preparing festive meals for family gatherings. Surviving with her husband are three children John M. O'Such husband of Melody of Pottstown, PA; Judith T. Wagner wife of Bill and Joseph D. O'Such companion of Kai of Limerick, PA . She is survived by six grandchildren Joseph M. O'Such, David J. O'Such, Angela Miller, Jordan Miller, Ryan Miller and Kerry Miller, Jr. who is deceased. She is pre-deceased by a brother John Haas and survived by a niece Rosemarie Bartchak and a nephew Ronald Haas. Funeral services will be held on Friday January 31, 2020 at 11 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 E. High St., Pottstown, PA . A viewing will be held on Friday from 10-11 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Poittsgrove Township.
