Jane Loeper

It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of Jane (Flanagan) Loeper, 88, loving wife of the late Richard M. Loeper, who peacefully left this world on September 30, 2026, at Pottstown Hospital, surrounded by her cherished daughters.

Born on March 29, 1938, in Shamokin, PA, Jane was a devoted educator and an inspiring presence in the lives of her family, friends and students.

Daughter of the late James and Mary (Kelly) Flanagan Sr., Jane was a beacon of love and kindness. She dedicated her life to nurturing her family, young students, embracing every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jane found immense joy in family gatherings, cherished vacations to the Jersey Shore, and delightful get-a-ways with her husband.

Jane, a dear friend to her book club gals where lunches would last well into the evening, looked forward to these gatherings every month. Jane also enjoyed sharing stories and traveling with her dear friend Diane. Her laughter and warmth enriched the lives of many, and she will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Jane’s legacy will live on through her daughters: Jane Brady and husband John, Barbara Eicheldinger and husband Ken, and Margaret Vasquez and husband Alex. She is also survived by her beloved siblings: Marion Stesney, Barbara Lizzul, and James Flanagan Jr., along with her wonderful grandchildren: Rich, Kenny, Emily, Alex, James, Ellis, Penny, and her two beautiful great-grandchildren, Charlie and Grace.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Warker~Troutman Funeral Home Inc, Pottstown. A service celebrating Jane’s life will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will ensue at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Pottstown.
