James Thaxton

James Donald Thaxton Sr., "Donnie", was called from this life on Friday, December 10, 2021. He was the son of the late James Thaxton and the late Alice Graves Strawther known as "AC".

Donnie, who many called him, had a passion for fishing, but had a talent for writing and drawing. His past time recreational activity was playing pool, in which he was great at! He lived most of his live in Pottstown Pennsylvania where he completed his education.

James Donald Thaxton Sr. leaves to cherish his memories his wife Tawanna Thaxton, five children, Angela Thaxton, James Donald Thaxton Jr., Darrin Thaxton, Dionna Thaxton and Deon Thaxton. Three siblings, Margaret Ann Glenn (Gregory), Harold Thaxton (Betty), Ronnie Thaxton (Tari). A step-mother Jesse Thaxton and a special uncle, Martin Graves. Nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Home-Going Service will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Walker-Troutman Funeral Home; viewing is from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, services starts at 11:00 AM. Friends and family are welcome to gather and celebrate the life of James Donald Thaxton Sr. AKA (Donnie).

Burial will take place at The Limerick Garden of Memories.
