Irene O Serba

Irene O. (Corbett) Serba, 90, wife of Patrick A. Serba, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Pottstown Hospital.

She was a daughter of the late Alexander and Marion (Billo) Corbett.

Irene was a graduate of Pottstown High School. She became the Assistant Director of Tri County Chamber of Commerce. Irene was an avid reader and a member of the Book of the Month Club. She played bridge for many years and would enjoy doing crossword, sudoku and any other puzzles she could find. Irene loved animals and spending time with her husband, Patrick and family. They have been taking family vacations for over 30 years to Ocean City, New Jersey.

Along with her husband, Irene is survived by two daughters, Wendy Lawrence, husband William and Stacy Serba, husband Kevin Kercher. One sister Shirley Fegely, husband Russell. Grandchildren Amanda (Lawrence) Ulrey, Corbett Lawrence, Katherine Kercher, KerryLyn Kercher and Kelly (Kercher) Ianiero. Great-grandchildren Perrin Ulrey, Corbett Ulrey, Avery Lawrence and Arden Lawrence.

Irene is predeceased by one brother, Robert Corbett.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, July 9, 2021 at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, Pottstown. Burial will follow Mass in St. Aloysius New Cemetery.
