Howard A. Jones

Howard A. Jones Sr., 87, husband of Yvonne (Brown) Jones, was called to rest on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the Pottstown Hospital.

Born on February 1, 1934 to the late Elder Lewis H. Jones and Mildred (Jackson).

Howard graduated from Reading Area High School and then enlisted in the United States Air Force. Howard was known as the "love Deacon" because of his caring and compassionate personality and love for God's people.

He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. His hobbies were fishing, swimming, walking, horse shoes, working out and his garden. Howard's green thumb was shared with everyone he knew.

Along with Howard's loving wife, he is survived by two children, Karen Jones and husband Prince Shelter Ephrain and Howard Jones Jr. and wife Doris. A sister Thewantha Hines, two grandchildren Christopher Harper and Brittany Nyce and husband Alex.

A Home Going Service will be held promptly at 11 A.M. on Monday, November 15, 2021 at TriCounty Bible Church located at 142 Buchert Rd, Gilbertsville, PA 19525. A viewing will be from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the Church.
