Hildegard M. Kucharek

Hildegard M. (Pobitz) Kucharek, 91, of Pottstown, passed away peacefully at her daughters house on May 20, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late Richard Kucharek.

Born on Valentine's Day in 1930 in Klagenfurt, Austria, she was a daughter of the late Johann and Maria (Tyler) Pobitz. She loved to knit and crochet. She enjoyed playing games and be with her great grandbabies. Hildegard loved animals but especially her cat, Shadow.

Left behind to cherish her memory are two sons, Richard M. Kurcharek and his wife, Shelly of Pembroke, Ga and Ulrich Kucharek and his wife, Rose of Pottstown; two daughters, Anna Maria (Kucharek) Nielson and her husband, Bob of Kempner, TX and Kahterina (Kucharek) Luckett and her companion, Dana Hudson of Pottstown; grandchildren, Marshall B. Luckett of Pottstown and Megan M. Luckett and her companion, Paul Winterbottom of Pottstown; great grand grandchildren, Aidan, Connor and Kendall Luckett.

Also surviving are a host of additional grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family in the United States and in Austria.
