Herb Beekley Jr. was called home to his Father on February 1, 2026. He lived a full and meaningful life defined by hard work, loyalty, faith and family.
A graduate of Pottstown High School, Herb spent the next 25 years employed by Doehler Jarvis and served as a Vice President of his union, a role he carried out with pride and conviction. Never one to hold back, Herb always spoke his mind and stood firmly by what he believed was right. Herb also tended bar part-time at St. Gabriel’s Lodge in Stowe, where he made lasting friendships and connections. Up until retirement, Herb worked for Penndot as a license examiner and state inspector. A jack of all trades, Herb was self-taught when it came to working on cars, house projects, and meticulously maintaining his lawn. Additionally, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—shuffleboard, golf, fishing, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Above all else, Herb was a proud father and grandfather who found deep fulfillment in his family. His love and dedication will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Herb was predeceased by his parents, Eva and Herb Beekley Sr.; his siblings, Dee Cunningham, Bob Cunningham, Arlene Beekley, Barbara Beekley, and Wayne Beekley Sr.
He is survived by his children, Herb Beekley III (Nikki), Tony Beekley, and Jessica Friend (Troy); his beloved grandchildren, Taylor, Landon, Gianna, Chase, and Tessa; his sister, Joyce Beekley and several nieces and nephews.
Herb will be remembered for his strong personality, generous spirit, and the many lives he touched throughout his life.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 10a.m. till Noon at the Warker~Troutman Funeral Home Inc, Pottstown. Service will begin at Noon.
