Henry J. Phillips

Henry J. "Doc" Phillips,79, husband of Ann C. (Gnoza) Phillips of Miller Road, North Coventry Township died Monday at his residence. Henry & Ann where married for 54 years. Born in Bridgeport, PA, he was the son of the late Henry & Philomena (Tancredi) Phillips, Sr. Mr. Phillips was a finish carpenter for carpenters union # 1595 of Philadelphia. He was a member of St. Thomas More R.C.C. 2101 Pottstown Pike, South Coventry Twp. Henry enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Surviving with his wife are two daughters Lucy M. wife of David DeGerolamo of Raleigh, NC and Carol A. Phillips of North Coventry Township. Also, two sons Henry J. Phillips III husband of Lisa of Pottstown, PA and Thomas J. Phillips husband of Charisse of North Coventry Township. He is also survived by five grandchildren Brooke Miller wife of Michael, Christopher DeGerolamo husband of Leslie, Kevin Phillips, Andrew Phillips and Lexus Phillips. Also, one great-grandson Vincent DeGerolamo. He is also survived by a sister Mary widow of Albert DeGenova of Norristown, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Thomas More R.C.C. on Friday November 25, 2011 at 11 A.M. Burial will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Township. The family will receive friends from 9:30 – 11 A.M. on Frriday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Thomas More R.C.C. 2101 Pottstown Pike Pottstown, PA 19465.
