Helen Pestrock

Helen O. Pestrock, 90, widow of John Pestrock of Fricks Locks Rd. E. Coventry Twp. passed away Thursday Feb. 26, 2015 at Manatawny Manor. Born in St. Clair, PA she was a daughter of the late Petro and Eva (Demitsky) Onufryk. She was employed as a machine operator for 44 years by the Stanley G. Flagg Co. Helen was a member of St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church, the St. John's Ladies Guild, the Greek Catholic Union and was a volunteer at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Surviving is a son Stephen Pestrock, E. Greenville. Daughters Nancy wife of Eugene Harding, Pottstown and Marie Pestrock of Fleetwood. A grandson Chase Pestrock of E. Greenville. She was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. A Divine Liturgy will be offered at 10:30 am Thursday March 5, 2015 at St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church 301 Cherry St. Pottstown. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am Thursday at the church. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Pottstown. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. John's Church, 301 Cherry St. Pottstown, PA 19464. Arrangements by Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, Pottstown.
