Helen Duckworth

Helen Duckworth, 101, passed away on October 30, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Akron, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Waclaw and Leocadia Zawada.

She was employed at the former Irene Boyer Home and worked 27 years at The Hill School in the Building and Grounds Department. She was a long-time member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, and served as recording secretary of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary for many, many years.

Surviving are her children, Paula Schrum (husband Mark), Jeanne Sikora (husband David), Mary Ellen Duckworth, Teresa Duckworth, Diana "Tootie" Hospador, Stephen Duckworth (wife Tracy), and Lisa Newton; 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Also survived by a sister, Mary Zawada of Akron, Ohio.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025 from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. at St. Aloysius R.C. Church in the Gathering Center, Pottstown. A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. in the Church.

Burial will follow in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Pottstown.
