Helen Challenger

Helen (Kalis) Challenger, 81, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2023 in Pottstown.

She was a daughter of the late William and Helen (Bertoti) Kalis.

Helen was a graduate of Pottstown High School. She was very spiritual and her favorite hobby was collecting angels; she had figurines, jewelry, painting, etc. of the angels. She loved watching Eagles football, shopping, Lifetime movies, scary movies, completing crossword puzzles and most of all spending time with her family. Her most loved hobby was doing anything with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen's love for children took her to a career for over 25 years working for Little People Day School/Kinder Care.

Helen is survived by her children, Larry (wife Denise), Matthew (significant other Barbara) and Lisa Wilcox (husband Michael); her three grandchildren, Ashley Mclean (husband Kevin), Marissa Wells (husband Patrick) and Bryce Challenger; her two great grandchildren; Cian Mclean and Ronan Wells. Helen is also survived by her loving cousin, Ida Hoopes.

Along with her parents, Helen is predeceased by a daughter Denise Ann Challenger.
