Grace Mazza

Mrs. Grace Mazza (Moyer), 85, of Pottstown, PA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Louis A. Mazza. Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter (one of Sixteen Children) of the late Lawrence Moyer and Martha (Ibach) Moyer. She worked as a seamstress for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking and hosting family gatherings, and she always watched out for her siblings especially her three younger brothers Reggie, Ron and Bob (aka "Moo"). Survivors include a son, Marc Mazza and his wife Sandy of Fairborn, OH; and three daughters, LuAnn Thornton and her husband Stan of Lubbock, TX; Cindy Sutherland and her husband Chuck of Bossier City, LA; and Patty Stewart and her husband Tom of Aurora, CO; and a sister, Elsie Mae Spaar, of Pottstown, PA; 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 15 of her 16 brothers and sisters. A viewing will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Saint Aloysius Gathering Center, 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA, followed bu a Mass in Saint Aloysius Church at 11 A.M., with burial in Saint Aloysius New Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, Pottstown, PA .
