Gordon A Whitlock

Gordon A. "Skip" Whitlock Jr, 67, husband of the loving Anita (Conway) Whitlock, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025.

He was a son of the late Gordon and Dolores (Lupica) Whitlock Sr.

Skip was proud to serve his country in the US Navy. He married the love of his life Anita and had three beautiful children. Skip was very active in the community. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, West Pottsgrove Township Commissioner and on the Pottsgrove School District Board as Director. He also was on the Western Center for Technical Studies Board as President and Director for House of Heroes Project.

Skip had a great love for his family but also a love for his faith; he was a member of St. Gabriel's Parish is Stowe and St. Aloysius Parish in Pottstown. Skip was a Sponsor of Youth Group at St. Gabriel's Church and a Project Volunteer at St. Gabriel's Church.

Along with his wife, Skip leaves behind his memories to be cherished by his children: Julie Whitlock, Eric Whitlock, Niki Carlise (husband Chris), siblings: Susan Clemons, Michael Whitlock, Tina Combs and eight wonderful grandchildren.

Skip is predeceased by a sister Linda Whitlock.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 10 a.m. till Noon at St. Gabriel's Church in Stowe. Mass will follow at Noon.

Burial will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery following Mass.

Skip's family would like to extend an invitation to a luncheon to friends and family at the Knight of Columbus in Stowe to share memories and stories of Skip following the burial.
