Gertrude J Holowis

Gertrude J. Holowis, 84, widow of George Holowis of Chester Springs, PA passed away on Sunday July 9, 2017 at her residence. Born in Pottstown, PA she was the daughter of the late Andrew Edward and Susan Veronica (Iswalt) Kovach. She was a member of St. Thomas More R.C.C. South Coventry Township. Surviving are three sons George A. Holowis husband of Carrie of Boyertown, PA, Michael A. Holowis of Chester Springs and Gary A. Holowis husband of Donna also of Chester Springs. She is also survived by a daughter Karen A. wife of Harold Bonenberger of Pottstown, PA . Additional survivors are a brother Andrew Kovach husband of Bridget of Bridgeport, PA and a sister Mildred Oxenford of Pottstown, PA and eight grandchildren Christopher, Lauren, Andrew, Melissa, Adam, Sarah, Mary and April. She is also survived by a great-granddaughter Savannah & one on the way. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 12, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA . Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Pottstown, PA . A viewing will be Wednesday from 10-11 A.M. at the funeral home.
