George K. Slonaker

George K. Slonaker, 89, of Smith Towers, High Street, Pottstown, died December 27, 2010 in Manor Care, Pottstown. Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late William K. and Ava (Trollinger) Slonaker. Mr. Slonaker had worked as a real estate agent for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are a son Kevin K. Slonaker of Gilbertsville; a daughter Sherry M. Zawada of Pottstown, and two granddaughters , Nicole C. and Chelsea A. Zawada. Funeral services will be Monday, January 3, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 High Street, Pottstown, with the Thomas Craver, chaplain of Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, officiating. Interment win Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. A viewing will be Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
