George C. Ruyak

George C. Ruyak, 87, widower of Ruth (Wanish) Ruyak of North Coventry Township passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Pottstown, PA he was the son of the late John A. and Mary (Artim) Ruyak. George had worked at the former Firestone Tire & Rubber and then at Occidental Chemical Company for many years. He was a member of Holy Trinity R.C.C. 370 South Street, Pottstown, PA. He had also been a member of the former Maria Assunta Lodge of Pottstown, PA. He was an avid bingo player. George was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II . Surviving is a sister Anna widow of George Shoop of Pottstown, PA. He is also pre-deceased by a brother Paul Ruyak and two sisters Helen Barlas and Mary Takacs. Also surviving are his caregivers; nephew Edward Wanish & his wife Marcia of Pottstown, PA and a niece Kathy Hacker wife of James Hacker of East Coventry Township. George is also survived by many other nieces & nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Trinity R.C.C. on Tuesday November 4, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Stowe, PA . A viewing will be Tuesday from 9-10 A.M. at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA .
