Francis T. Pachik

Francis T. "Frank" Pachik, 67, husband of Anne Marie (Bell) Pachik of Woodland Drive, Pottstown, PA died Saturday July 16, 2011 at his residence. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Frank T. and Anna C. (Stropko) Pachik. Frank had worked as a machinist for Doehler Jarvis Co. formerly of Stowe, PA for 40 years and then for Penflex in Gilbertsville, PA for 5 years. Frank was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C. Beech & Hanover Streets in Pottstown, PA. He also was a member of Father Bally Council #1192 Knights of Columbus of Stowe, PA, a life member of West End Fire Co. also in Stowe, a member of the Pottstown Senior Citizens and played in the Pottstown shuffleboard League for 35 years. Frank also sang in the choir of St. John Byzantine Catholic Church for 40 years. Surviving with his wife are two sons Brian A. Pachik husband of Jeannie of Pottstown, PA and Kurt D. Pachik companion of Mandy of East Norriton Township. Also three grandchildren Jordan, Ashley & Dylan. He is also survived by a brother Gregory R. Pachik of Cincinnati, Ohio and a sister Monica L. Sorg of Reading, PA . A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C. on Wednesday July 20, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9 – 10:30 A.M. at the Gathering Center of St. Aloysius R.C.C. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Cancer Center of Pottstown Memorial Medical Center 1600 East High Street Pottstown, PA 19464.
