Frances T. Swingle

Frances T. Swingle, 89, widow of Stanley C. Swingle of East Race Street, Stowe, PA died Thursday March 31, 2011 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in St. Clair, PA she was the daughter of the late Karol and Mary (Larish) Kozyra. Mrs. Swingle had worked as a seamstress for the former Pottstown Shirt Factory for 26 years until her retirement in 1984. She was a member of St. Gabriel's R.C.C. Jefferson & Howard Streets in Stowe, PA where she was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Firestone Retiree's # 336. She is pre-deceased by two brothers John & Joseph Kozyra and two sisters Sophie Kozyra and an infant girl. She is survived by nieces & nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Gabriel's R.C.C. on Monday April 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas A. Nasta, pastor officiating. Interment will be in St. Louis Cemetery in Frackville, PA on Tuesday April 5, 2011 at 1 P.M. A viewing will be Monday from 9-10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Gabriel's R.C.C. 127 East Howard Street Stowe, PA 19464.
