Etta M. Murray

Etta M. (Baker) Murray, 85, widow of Willard N. Murray of Boyertown, PA passed away on Friday April 18, 2014 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Staunton, Virginia she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Callison) Baker. Etta was a graduate of the former North Coventry High School and had been a private duty nurse at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center for many years. She was a member of the Chesmont Church of Christ in Pottstown, PA. She was also a member of the Boyertown Senior Center. She loved her dog Susie. Surviving are two sons Lloyd Murray husband of Jacalyn and James Murray husband of Cindy both of Boyertown, PA . Also, two daughters Katherine Jetter of Pottstown, PA and Connie wife of Michael Reinhart of Collegeville, PA . Etta is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren and a sister Sherron wife of Donald Boohar of Wagontown, PA. She was pre-deceased with her husband and parents by a brother Leon William Baker and a sister Janet Baker. Funeral services will be Friday April 25, 2014 at 11 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA with the Rev. Eric Williamson, pastor of Chestmont Church of Christ officiating. A viewing will be from 10 – 11 A.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown, PA . Memorial contributions can be made in Etta's memory to the Boyertown Senior Center 200 West Spring Street, Boyertown, PA 19512.
