Elsie Anzulewicz passed away on Saturday September 17, 2016. Elsie was born in Swindon, England and is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Anzulewicz. During World War II Elsie met the love of her life, Joseph Anzulewicz while he was serving in the armed forces and stationed at Chiseldon Camp, which was the first British Camp to receive American Soldiers. Elsie and Joseph were married in Swindon, England and shortly after World War II she immigrated with their two year old son Paul to the USA. Joseph and Elsie enjoyed 52 years together. Elsie liked everyone to call her "Nana". The family will fondly remember her amazing stories about growing up in Great Britain, the war years, her voyage across the atlantic and her first glimpse of Ellis Island, Elsie had a love for animals, especially birds – she was often able to identify natures feathery creatures. She loved everything British and was fortunate to visit her family in England often. In Elsie's golden years she was cared for by many loving family members. First by her son and daughter in-law, James and Jennie Anzulewicz, of Boyertown, PA and later by her grandson, Steve Anzulewicz and his family of Wilmington, DE. Elsie retired to Parkhouse at Providence Pointe in Royersford, PA were she was being treated for dementia. Elsie is survived by her sister Joyce Savory Nash, brother Len Savory and many nieces and nephews in Swindon, England. In the USA she is survived by her son Paul Anzulewicz and daughter in-law Joan Anzulewicz, Son James Anzulewicz and daughter in-law Jenny Anzulewicz along with five grandchildren Steve, Michael, Susan, James, Eric Anzulewicz and five great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 9:30-11 A.M. at Warker-Troutman Funera lHome located at 726 E. High Street, Pottstown, PA. Followed by a brief memorial service at 11 .
