Ellen G Macy

Ellen G. (Stemmer) Macy, 93, wife of the late William J. Macy, passed away July 1, 2025 at the Phoenixville Hospital, with her loving family by her side.

She was a daughter of the late William A. and Viola (Daugherty) Stemmer.

Ellen had many hobbies; her favorite things to do were read and sew. She enjoyed talking politics and hearing others thoughts. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Spending time with her family is where she found the most joy.

Ellen leaves behind her memories to be cherished by her children: Barbara Gross (husband Gary), Bob Macy (wife Dee), Brad Macy (wife Felicia), Betsy Loffredo (husband Vince), Chris Macy (wife Jennifer), grandchildren: Jocelyn, Stephen, Alyssa, Jackie, David, Tara, Andrew, Colin, Will, Ed, Matt, Eric, Natalie, Justin, Marissa, Tiavin and 21 great grandchildren.

Along with her husband and parents, Ellen is predeceased by a sister Eileen Calhoun, grandchildren Daniel Macy and Jason Plattner.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 10:30a.m. St. Columbkill Church, Boyertown.

Burial will follow in St. Aloysius New Cemetery.
