Elizabeth L. Rowland

Elizabeth "Betty" L. (O'Dell) Rowland, 92, wife of the late Myron "Mike" D. Rowland died Tuesday, January 31st at the Lutheran Home in Topton, PA . Born November 15, 1919 in Pottstown, she was the daughter of Wilbert F. and C. Estelle (Kochel) O'Dell Sr. She attended St. Aloysius grade school and was a 1937 graduate of Pottstown High School. Betty worked at Annabel's China & Gift Store and Joseph W. Moyer, Jewelry and gifts. She was Buyer/Coordinator for Engle Jewelry Store. She was a parishioner of St. Aloysius R.C.C. and former member of Brookside Country Club. She enjoyed bridge and was a member of several clubs. Her three brothers Wilbert "Sheno" F. O'Dell, Jr., Douglas V. O'Dell, and E. Jules "Jim" O'Dell have preceded her in death. She is survived by her three children Dr. Michael C. Rowland, wife Esther, of Allentown, Colleen E., wife of Dr. Raymond Casciari, of Villa Park, CA, and Patrick O. Rowland, wife Daria of Pottstown. She has twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C. Beech & Hanover Streets in Pottstown, PA on Friday February 3, 2012 at 1 P.M. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Township. A viewing will be Thursday evening, February 2, 2012, from 6-8 P.M. at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street Pottstown, PA In lieu of flowers , contributions can be made to the scholarship fund of St. Aloysius School 220 North Hanover Street Pottstown, PA 19464.
