Elizabeth E. Heslop

Elizabeth (Betsy) E. Heslop, 76, widow of Robert E. Heslop of Reading, PA and formerly of Pottstown, PA passed away on Saturday June 9, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Reading, PA . Born in Wilkes Barre, PA she was the daughter of the late Rev. James and Florence (Brague) Hodgson. Betsy was raised in Plymouth, PA. She received her Bachelor's degree in elementary education from Bloomsburg University.  She taught almost thirty years at West Pottsgrove Elementary School, mostly 5 th grade.  She was proud of establishing the long-running 5 th grade camping trip.  She was active in the Parent Teacher Organization and the Pottsgrove Music League. Surviving are a son Christopher R. Heslop (Jill) and a daughter Suzanne J. Hessler (Mark). She is also survived by three grandchildren Tristan Heslop (19), Wyatt Hessler (17), and Noah Heslop (17). Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 E. High St., Pottstown, PA . The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10-11 A.M.
