Elizabeth M. Gribb

Elizabeth M. (Dougherty) Gribb, 89, of Pottstown, known as "Betty", died Monday, September 7, at Sanatoga Court. Born in Ambler, Betty was the daughter of James J. and Cora M. Dougherty. She attended Conshohocken High School and was a member of their 50 year Alumni Association. She worked at Phoenixville Hospital as a billing associate before retiring after 25 years of service. She was an active member of "To Live Again" for widows and widowers where she met her second husband Theodore and the Rosary Club at St. Aloysius. She was an avid card player and enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her large family. Betty is survived by her step-children Theodore Gribb Jr. (Sharon), Timothy Gribb (Sharon) Lawrence Gribb (Cassandra), Celeste Gama (Mark), Stephen Gribb (Denise) and Joseph Gribb (Kathleen). She has 19 step-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her first husband, James Tallon, her son James T. Tallon (Sue) and her second husband Theodore S. Gribb Sr. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C. in Pottstown on Saturday September 12th at 9:30 A.M. A viewing will be held in the Gathering Center of St. Aloysius from 8:45 – 9:15 A.M. Burial will be held at St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Township.
