Elizabeth "Betty" Bonson, 72, widow of Emory B. Bonson of Cherry Street, Pottstown, PA died Monday , December 24, 2012 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Pottstown, PA she was the daughter of the late Frank A. & Margaret A. (Steffanelli) Riccardi. Betty had operated the former Riccardi's Luncheonette on the corner of Cherry & Evans streets for 17 years. She then managed the former Rax Roast Beef shop on High St. in Pottstown. She later worked at Lattanzio's Steaks & Stuff before working in the cafeteria at Pottstown Hospital and for the cafeteria of the Pottstown School District. She was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C. in Pottstown, PA. Betty was an avid bingo player & casino visitor. She loved to help people and cherished her friends and family. Surviving is a son Frank Bonson of Pottstown, PA . Also, three daughters Theresa wife of Rickey Kisch of Douglassville, PA , Kimberly wife of Charles Green of Boyertown, PA and Monique wife of Michael Paczok of Pottstown, PA . She is also survived by two sisters Anna Marie wife of John Hasselhan of Pottstown, PA and Rita Koralewski of Douglassville, PA and six grandchildren and one great-grandson. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Wednesday January 2, 2013 at 11 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA with the Rev. Thomas Craver, chaplain of Pottstown Memorial Medical Center officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 – 11 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
