Elisa M Wiley

Elisa Melanie Wiley, lovingly known as "Chick", passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 47. Born on April 17, 1978, in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Elisa made a remarkable impact on the lives of everyone around her through her kindness, creativity, and spirit of service.

Elisa shared nearly 20 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Christopher Wiley. Together, they created a warm and loving home in Pottstown, where Elisa's vibrant personality and nurturing nature illuminated the lives of all who knew her. She dedicated 25 years to the Information Technology department at Villanova University, where her expertise and unwavering commitment to education made her an invaluable member of the community. 

Her passion extended beyond her work; she loved gardening, canning, cooking, baking, and hiking, often sharing the fruits of her labors with friends and family. Animals held a special place in Elisa's heart, especially her cherished cats and chickens. She was a fierce advocate for animal welfare, channeling her love into volunteering for Recycled Tails, an organization dedicated to finding homes for animals in need. Elisa's generous spirit also shone through her involvement with the Red Corner Benefit, supporting children battling cancer. Her contributions to these causes reflected her deep compassion and dedication to helping others. 

Elisa is survived by her devoted husband, Christopher Wiley; her loving father, Walter Wiherin; her caring mother, Rosalie Wiherin; as well as her supportive sister-in-law, Stephanie Wiley. Each of these relationships was enriched by her loyalty and love, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.. 

In the spirit of Elisa's generosity, the family asks that contributions be made in her name to the Red Corner Benefit and Recycled Tails, ensuring her legacy of love and service continues to thrive.Elisa Melanie Wiley will be profoundly missed, yet her spirit will forever live on in those she touched.
