Eli Augustus Tyner

Eli Augustus Tyner III, 65, companion of Jody L. Manfredi of East High Street, Pottstown, PA passed away on Tuesday June 28, 2016 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Pottstown, PA . Born in Atlantic City, NJ he was the son of the late Eli Augustus Tyner, Jr. and Marion M. (Johnson) Tyner. Eli was the owner and operator of Eagle Pest Control in Pottstown, PA since 1997. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War after which he joined the Army reserves. Surviving is a son Eli Augustus Tyner IV and two daughters JoAnna E. Martin wife of Steve Martin, Jr. of Coatesville, PA and Carole A. Wilson of North Coventry Township. He is also survived by a brother Christian Tyner of Delaware Co. and three sisters Camille Tyner of NJ, Christine Tyner-King of Georgia and Michelle Tyner of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by eight grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 1 P.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High St., Pottstown, PA. A viewing will be held on Thursday from Noon - 1 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to help defray funeral expenses with checks made payable to Warker-Troutman Funeral Home and sent to the above address.
