Eileen F. (Bell) Dezura, passed away Friday evening July 25, 2025 at the Reading Hospital in Reading, Pennsylvania.
She lived 82 beautiful and selfless years and was surrounded by her loved ones on Friday evening when she passed. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Gerald Michael Dezura, from Pottstown. Her husband and children, Mark Dezura, Molly Dezura and Susan (Dezura) Wunderley, were with her upon passing.
Eileen's grandchildren, Gavin and Ella Wunderley were the light of her life. She was surrounded by loving family throughout her life: Anne (Bell) Pachik, Linda (Bell) Kulp, Roger Bell, Patricia (Bell) Waters, Michael Bell and Marian (Bell) Lippert along with her numerous nephews, nieces, and their children.
Eileen was born in Scranton and moved to Pottstown and graduated from St. Pius X High School in 1961. She and her siblings worked at the Highway Drive-In movie theater for their father, Harold E. Bell, and that is where she met the love of her life, Jerry.
Her siblings and family members speak frequently about how she was the best one. She will always be the best: mother, wife, Mema, sister, and friend. Eileen's simplicity, grace, and remarkable impact on the people in her life was a gift from God. Eileen did not care about things; she cared about others. Many attribute Eileen's gifts to her amazing mother, Margaret (Welsh) Bell.
A Mass for Eileen will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Noon at St. Teresa of Calcutta Church. A visitation will be held prior to Mass from 11 a.m. till Noon at the Church.
