Edward R Wilson

Edward Ralph Wilson, 77, of Gilbertsville, PA, peacefully passed away on May 30, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on March 31, 1949, in Norristown, PA, he was the devoted husband of Maryellen (LaHoda) Wilson, sharing 44 years of marriage, and the son of the late Edward R. and Virginia (Brown) Wilson.

In addition to his beloved wife, Ralph leaves behind his son, Andrew Wilson, and his sisters, Pam Keravuori, wife of Jouni, and Marcia Lindahl, wife of Ross. They will all carry his memory in their hearts forever, celebrating the impact he had on their lives and the lives of so many others.

Ralph will be remembered as an exceptional athlete whose passion for swimming led him to become an All-American swimmer at The Hill School and a State Champion in the breaststroke at the Pottstown YMCA. He received a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Michigan where he was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. Ralph also obtained a M.B.A. from St. Joseph's University. He dedicated many years of his engineering career to STV, Inc. However, it was his love for family that defined him as a person. Ralph was a true family man who treasured the moments spent with loved ones, sharing laughter, love, and cherished memories.
