Edward J. Poster Sr. 84, widower of Eleanor (Cioe) Poster of Summit Glen Dr. Dayton, OH passed away Thursday October 3, 2013 in the Wood Glen Alzheimer's Community. Born in Pottstown he was the son of John and Anna (Ondercin) Poster. Ed was employed as an office supervisor by the Firestone Corp. and was a US Army Korean War Veteran. He was a member of St. Gabriel's RC Church , Stowe. Surviving is a son Edward J. Poster Jr. and his wife Michelle of Spring Boro, OH Grandchildren Carole, Edward "Tre" III and Cathrine. A sister Eileen Kneafsey, West Chester. Ed was predeceased by a son Michael Poster, Sisters Anna Poster, Mary Wambach, Helen Pinder and Dorothy Underwood. Brothers John, Joseph and Francis Poster. A Funeral Mass will be offered 11 am Wednesday October 9, 2013 in St. Gabriel's RC Church, Stowe. Burial will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery. A viewing will be held 6 to 8 pm Tuesday and 9:30 to 10:15 am Wednesday at the Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 High St. Pottstown.
