Edward Chieffo

Edward G. Chieffo, 74, husband of Helen (Prostovich) Chieffo of Sylvan Dr. Stowe passed away Thursday January 5, 2017 at his residence. Born in Pottstown he was a son of the late John and Agnes (Ewanick) Chieffo. Ed was a US Army veteran of the Viet Nam War and served with the Big Red One. He was employed by the Firestone Corp. and later by Knolls Inc. He was a 1960 graduate of St. Pius X High School and was a member of St. Gabriel's RC Church. Surviving with his wife are daughters Karen wife of Robert Burns and Donna wife of Eric Irey. Five grandchildren. A sister Cathy Handforth. Predeceased by a brother James Chieffo and a sister Mary Ann Rogers. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 am Wednesday January 11, 2017 at St. Gabriel RC Church 127 E. Howard St. Stowe. A viewing will be held Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 am at the Church. Burial will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery.
