Earl Wilson Yerger, known to his family and friends as Wilson, 90, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Royersford.
He was a son of the late Harry W. and Maggie (Fox) Yerger.
Wilson was a graduate of North Coventry High School. He was a carpenter for many years. He started his career for Warren B. Zern and later continued his career for Herb Builders. Wilson was known for spending time going to stock car races and growing his own vegetables in his garden. He loved the outdoors and taking walks. He was a member of the former Transfiguration Church. Two things Wilson will always be remembered for was his kindness and generosity. He is a man that will be deeply missed.
Surviving are brothers Leroy Yerger and Carl R. Yerger Sr. and wife Carlene. Along with two sisters; Jeanette Stauffer and Susan Detwiler, husband Ken. A nephew Carl R. Yerger Jr. and many nieces.
He is predeceased by a sister Emarine Sharon Yerger.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 11 A.M at the Warker-Troutman Funeral Home Inc. located at 726 E. High St, Pottstown. Rev. Pastor Gregory W. Frey from St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Douglassville will be officiating. Friends may call from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M prior to the service.
