Donna C. (Messer) Bannon, 62, wife of James M. Bannon of Douglassville, PA died Tuesday evening at Neighborhood Hospice, West Chester, PA . Born in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of Clyde E. Messer of Boyertown, PA and the late Evelyn (Rothermel Messer. Donna Was a Dental Assistant at the Wyomissing office of Dr. Jeffrey Blank for over twenty years. She was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C. Beech & Hanover Streets Pottstown, PA . She loved helping others and enjoyed contributing to charities such as St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Surviving with her husband and father are two daughters Melissa Q wife of Nicholas McIlwain of Valley Forge, PA and Aileen E. wife of Jason Manning of Philadelphia, PA and a grandson Benjamin D. McIlwain. Donna is also survived by a brother Dennis C. Messer husband of Jayda of Oskosh, Wisconsin and pre-deceased by a brother Barry Messer. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C. on Saturday October 8, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Township. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9 – 10 A.M. at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street Pottstown, PA .
