Donald John Zeleznick

Donald John Zeleznick, 88, passed away in his Douglassville residence, Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020. He was the loving husband of Lynda (Fornea) Zeleznick. The couple married in Pottstown on August 18, 1984.

Born in Pottstown on December 7, 1932 he was the son of the late John Zeleznick and Mary (Wausnock) Zeleznick. After graduation, Donald served in the US Army during Korea before being honorably discharged.

Donald was a member of the former Holy Trinity parish and an avid fisherman.

Donald worked as a Electrician with the former Doehler Jarvis for 24 years until retirement.

In addition to his wife, Lynda; Donald is survived by two sons: John Zeleznick and his wife, Kay of Pottstown and Mark Zeleznick and his companion, Carole Herbert of Fleetwood; his daughter, Debra (Zeleznick) Stevens and her husband, Lester of Douglassville; two step daughters: Kathleen Aquino of Birdsboro and Jonelle Heany of Douglassville; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 11am in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 366 South St., Pottstown, PA 19464 with Rev. Father Joseph L. Maloney as celebrant. A viewing in the church will be on Thursday from 10 to 11am. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Pottstown. Due to the worldwide pandemic, please continue to practice social distancing. Masks and hand sanitation are required. All services will be livestreamed on Thursday.
