Donald S. Mourar

Donald S. Mourar, 96, widower of Julia H. (Egrie) Mourar, Shillington, PA, passed away at the home of his daughter Judith Bauer on Wednesday December 14, 2016. Born in East Vincent Township, PA he was the son of the late Rentz and Ada (Loomis) Mourar. Donald worked as a die casting technician at Doehler- Jarvis Corporation, retiring in 1978,and a water bottler at Rockwood Spring Water Company. He was a member of St. John Baptist de La Salle R.C.C. in Mohnton, PA . He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. Surviving is a daughter Judith A. Bauer, with whom he resided in Shillington, PA ,grandson Donald Bauer, husband of Jami, Kenhorst,PA and granddaughter Julie Parsons wife of Bradley, Sinking Spring, PA. He is also survived by great-grandchildren Dana and Haley Bauer and Michaela and Gage Parsons. In addition, he is survived by a brother Jack Mourar, wife of Jean, and a sister June (Mourar) Bodolus, widow of Joseph. He is pre-deceased by three brothers and five sisters. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C. 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA on Monday December 19, 2016 at 11 A.M. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown, PA . A viewing will be held on Monday from 9 – 10:30 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA.
