Dolores T. Koren

Dolores T. (Etzel) Koren, 88, widow of Francis J. Koren of Pottstown, PA passed away on Saturday October 29, 2016 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Michael T. and Theresa K. (Winterstein) Etzel. Dolores had worked as a secretary for the Hill School in Pottstown, PA for 22 years until her retirement in 1984. She was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C., 223 Beech St. Pottstown, PA where she was also a member of St. Aloysius Senior Citizens. She was a member of the Pottstown Area Senior Citizens, The A.A.R.P., the Doe Club of the Pottstown Elks Lodge, the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and was a former girl Scout Leader. Surviving are two sons Kenneth M. Koren husband of Ruth of Norristown, PA and Gerald T. Koren of Exton, PA . Also, two daughters Christine wife of Robert Love III of North Coventry Township and Diane wife of David Bodolus of Pottstown, PA . She was also pre-deceased by a son James F. Koren. Dolores is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandson. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C. on Friday November 4, 2016 at 11 A.M. A viewing will be held in the church's Gathering Center from 9 – 10:45 A.M. Friday morning prior to the Mass. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Buchert Road, Lower Pottsgrove Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Aloysius School, 220 North Hanover Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
