Dixie Lee Barna

Dixie Lee Barna , 75, of Walnut Street, Pottstown, PA died Friday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Byrle and Arita Hannah (Himes) Shirey. Dixie had been self-employed for many years. She was a member of the New Life Bible Fellowship Church in Oley, PA. Surviving are five children Bonnie Downie, Sherri Downie, Kim Shivak, Timothy Barna and Heidi Vinke. Also, a brother Byrle Robert "Porky" Shirey and twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be celebrated on Tuesday September 25, 2012 at 7 P.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street Pottstown, PA with Michael Sullivan officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 – 7 P.M. at the funeral home. There will be no viewing.
