Dennis J. Owens, 65, husband of Maryanne T. (Yannessa) Owens of Lower Pottsgrove Township passed away on Sunday May 17, 2015 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA . Born in Pottstown, PA he was the son of the late William J. and Ruth P. (Quay) Owens, Sr. Denny was Vice President of Finance for Mayer Pollock Steel Corporation of Pottstown, PA for 30 years. He was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C. 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA . Surviving with his wife is a son Dennis J. Owens husband of Karen of Royersford, PA and a daughter Colleen M. wife of David Glenn of Pottstown, PA . Denny is also survived by a brother William J. Owens, Jr. husband of Frances of Lower Pottsgrove Township and six grandchildren Julia Owens, Madeline Glenn, Lainey Owens, Alex Glenn, Dennis A. Owens and Joey Glenn. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C. on Saturday May 23, 2015 at 11:30 A.M. with the Rev. Peter J. DiMaria, Pastor of Sacred Heart R.C.C. Royersford, PA and the Rev. Francis Kelly a retired former Associate pastor of St. Aloysius R.C.C. officiating. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Township . A viewing will be Saturday morning from 9-11 A.M. at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Trisomy 21 at Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia 34th and Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104-4399.
