Deborah Rowland

It is with a heavy yet grateful heart that we announce the passing of Deborah "Dee" (Moyer) Rowland, who departed peacefully on December 30, 2025, at Reading Hospital. Born on May 17, 1962, in Somerville, NJ, Dee made her home in Pottstown, PA, where she touched the lives of many through her caring nature and dedication to her community.

Dee was the beloved wife of the late Michael Rowland and a cherished daughter of the late Francis and Dolores Moyer Sr. She is survived by her loving sons, David Moyer (wife Olivia), Jimmy Thees (fiancee Kate), step-daughter Amanda Miller (husband Terry) as well as her beloved grandchildren-Colby, Phoebe, Mckenzie, Ryleigh, Marissah, Michael, Jayla, Kiaira, Leighia, and her step-grandchildren- Brittany, Rebekah, Wyatt, Nolan and one step-great grandchild Estella. Dee will also be missed by her sisters Mary Rhoads and Charlotte Vogenberg, alongside numerous family and friends who were fortunate enough to know her.

A devoted member of Good Will Fire Company (Pottstown), Dee volunteered for many years as a fire police officer and took immense pride in her service to others. She was known for her adventurous spirit, enjoying camping trips with her family, and her compassionate heart that always sought to help those in need.

Dee is predeceased by her siblings: Cathy, Jim "Francis Jr.", Gary, Gerald, Bob and one step-grandchild Trinity. Her legacy of love and selflessness will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

In celebration of Dee's remarkable life, her family will hold a Celebration of Life ceremony at a later date, details of which will be announced on our website. We invite all who knew her to join us in honoring her memory and sharing in the joy she brought to our lives.
