David O. Lewis

David O. Lewis Jr. 69, husband of Bridget (Fortner) Lewis of Kutz Dr. N. Coventry Twp. passed away Monday Jan. 15, 2018 at the Pottstown Hospital. Born in Pottstown he was a son of the late David O. Sr. and Helen (Skurla) Lewis. He was employed in the Customer Service and Sales Depts. of AT&T for 30 years and by the Lowa Group for 15 years. Dave was a 1965 graduate of St. Pius X High School. A life long member of St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church and Past President of St. John's Church Holy Name Society Society, the Church Choir and was active in the Church Bake Sales. He was an avid Phila. Sports Fan. He was a score keeper for Owen J. Roberts Sports. He was a US Marine Corp. veteran. For 35 years Dave cared for his widowed mother. Surviving are sons Timothy and Mark Lewis of N. Coventry Twp. A daughter Erica Lewis of Boston Mass. Two sisters Diana wife of James O'Hare, Richmond Hill, NY and Teresa wife of George Gerasimowicz, Pottstown. A Divine Liturgy will be offered at 10:30 am Tuesday Jan. 23, 2018 at St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church 301 Cherry St. Pottstown. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6 to 7:30 pm and Tuesday morning from 9 to 10 am at the Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 High St. Pottstown. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John's Church.
