Constance Lynn Jackley

Constance Lynn "Connie" (Ruberto) Jackley, 71, passed away September 6, 2021, at home with her loving husband Mike by her side.

Connie was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Geraldine (Christman) Ruberto of Pottstown.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Rachel Lorraine.

Connie spent her formative years in Pottstown and married her OJR High School sweetheart, Michael "Mike" Jackley. In the summer of 2021 they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. They began a family in 1974 and had the opportunity to travel the country for Mike's work. Among these places were Newark Delaware, Tri-Cites Washington State, and Portsmouth New Hampshire. Connie made lifelong friendships in these transient years, but ultimately came back to North Coventry Township to live and raise her and Mike's daughter, Rachel. They retired to Calabash, North Carolina in 2016 to enjoy the beach, pool and golf.

I had the two most amazing jobs in the world : wife and mom.

Connie was a devoted mother to Rachel and together they took care of countless pets and animals. Connie was an extremely talented mother, homemaker, creative type, church choir singer and gardener. She used her talent to transform their many houses into the most spectacular and loving homes. She treasured time with family and friends and loved to care for and advocate for four legged creatures. Her green thumb and artistic vision flowed outside into their gardens. Visitors were always welcomed with a fresh glass of iced tea and encouraged to sit in serenity on the porch or patio. Although Connie suffered greatly with the loss of her daughter and innumerable health obstacles, she lived life to the fullest with such perseverance. She will be remembered with love, affection and awe by those who witnessed her continual strength and determination.

There will be a grave site celebration at 12:00 noon on April 20, 2022. (27th anniversary of our daughter Rachel's passing)

Please join the service at New Saint Aloysius Cemetery located at 800 block of Buchert Rd. Pottstown, PA 19464. Please consider wearing one of Connie's favorite colors, red or yellow, in celebration and remembrance.
