Charles F. Funk

Charles F. Funk, 79, husband of Fabiola (Perez-Caldas) Funk of Birdsboro, PA passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013 at his residence. Born in New Berlinville, PA , he was the son of the late Charles D. & Alice R. (Moser) Funk. Charles was a quality control inspector for the Neapco Company of Pottstown, PA for 32 years until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the Jehovah's Witness-East-Mt. Penn Congregation in Reading, PA. Charles had also served in the National Guard for six years. Surviving with his wife of 43 years are six children, Charles F. Funk, Jr. of California, Brian Funk of Levitown, PA, Susan wife of Thomas Duval of East Greenville, PA, James Funk husband of Deborah of Collegeville, PA, Elke Funk of Reading, PA and Jonathan Funk husband of Tammy also of Reading, PA. He is also survived by twelve grandsons and one granddaughter and a sister Darlene Wilby of Wernersville, PA . He was pre-deceased by a son Jeffrey Funk. Funeral Services will be Thursday December 5, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA with Elder Craig Curley officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum, Pottstown, PA. A viewing will be Wednesday evening December 4, 2013 from 6-7:30 P.M. and Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.
