Catherine Kasha Query

Catherine (Kasha) Query passed away following a brief hospitalization on Saturday, July 18th. She was 91 years of age. She was survived by a daughter, Cindy Karver (wife of Jeff Karver), and two sons, Louie (husband of Luane Query) and Matthew Query (husband of Patti Query), a daughter-in-law, Johanna Query, was predeceased by a son Kenny Query, and a daughter Debbie Query. Kasha had seven grandchildren (Ryan, Rusty, Ross, Grace, Jackie, Nicole & Julie), and six great-grandchildren (Cole, Adalyn, Hayden, Kenley, Ben & Olivia). Kasha was born in Reading, one of ten children of Stella and Michael Misura. She was a longtime waitress at the Sunnybrook Colonial Room, and later manager at the Pen & Ink Tavern, in Collegeville. She was a devoted member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, serving in the Prayer Group, Bible Study, and the Care and Share group. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is loved and will be missed by all. A viewing will be held Thursday, July 23rd, in St. Aloysius Gathering Center from 9:00 am to 10:45 am with service to follow at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Kasha to St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
