Carleen Yvonne (Warner) Horosky, 98, wife of the late Joseph Horosky passed away on April 7, 2025 at Manatawny Manor in Pottstown, PA.
Born in Kenilworth, PA, Carleen was raised by her devoted grandmother, Clara Warner. Carleen lived a long full life of passion for family, church, and travel. Her world revolved around her beloved children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Carleen instilled her values of education, integrity, and a strong work ethic onto them. While at Manatawny Manor she enjoyed all activities including the music program, armchair travel, Bingo, games, crafts, and volleyball which kept her engaged with friends. Carleen liked to have fun, laugh, and bring joy to all.
Carleen especially loved going on trips that turned into adventures with her daughter Anne. New York City fashion week was an amazing experience for Carleen since she was passionate about fashion and fragrance. Carleen could fit in anywhere like a rowdy Buffalo Bills football game in Orchard Park, NY. to wrestling events, of which she was an avid fan. Anne's volunteer work with the Obama Administration on job creation took her to many events. However, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her the most happiness later in life.
In High School Carleen was named "ambitious salesman of the class" which she passed on those traits to her daughters. She enjoyed helping others and supported all fundraising and charity events. She was immensely appreciated for her volunteer work with the Pioneer Club of Coventry Church, Coventry Christian School, Den Mother for Cub Scouts, room mother at school, school trips, helping sell girl scout cookies, and summer playground in Kenilworth. The kids in her neighborhood were always welcome at her home.
Carleen leaves behind her memories to be cherished by her children: Carletta Horosky, Anne Horosky, Joseph M Horosky, JoAnn Hyde (husband John), Grandchildren Laura Buroojy (husband Eric), Theresa Stewart (husband Jon), and Anthony Joseph Horosky. Great grandchildren, Madison and Kara Buroojy.
Along with her husband , Carleen was predeceased by her twin brother Carl.
Carleen's legacy of love, generosity, and vivacious personality will continue through her family and whose lives she touched.
Services will be held at Coventry Church, 946 Keen Road, Pottstown, Pa 19465 on Saturday, April 12, 2025, with viewing at 10:00 am followed by services at 11:00am. Burial will be private.
