Carl E. Swavely

Carl E. Swavely, 68, husband of the loving Cathy (Kent) Swavely, passed away November 13, 2023 at his

residence surrounded by his family.

He was a son of the late Samuel and Ruth Arlene (Haussman) Swavely.

Carl was a Boyertown Area Senior High School graduate. He worked for many years at Zerns Farmers market for Paul DeCarlo alongside his father, mother, wife, brothers and children. Carl worked for Stanley G. Flags in Stowe and spent many years working for another family friend as a welder. Carl eventually found another place to work at Hollenbach's Home Center in Boyertown, PA. He was loved by many and a friend to all who met him.

Carl enjoyed fishing trips with his sons and loved Motown music. Carl loved to make people laugh. He cherished life and his family. He had a talent of making many things out of wood. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren. Carl loved to go to the shore and also to the mountains. He was an avid bowler. He also enjoyed going to the casino with his lovely wife.

Along with his wife, Carl is survived by his children; Jennifer Panfile (husband Mark Panfile), Eric Swavely (wife Christina), Thomas Swavely, siblings; Harold Swavely, Curtis Swavely, Edward Swavely, Jay Swavely, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Carl is predeceased in death by a brother, William Swavely.
