Bradley Joseph Ludwig, 53 years, tragically passed away May 30,2024 in the care of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Burn Center/ Trauma Center after a fire at his residence Thursday in the Smith building. Brad was born on October 1, 1970; raised in the Pottstown area his whole life. He graduated from Pottsgrove High School and Western Montgomery County Technical School in 1989.
Brad was employed as a laborer at various factories in the Pottstown area plus Boscov's until his medical condition forced him to go into disability. He was a huge fan of Washington Commanders, formally the Redskins, and on game day he would get all decked out with their colors. A pet lover and loved the outdoors, he frequented Pottstown Memorial Park and would be seen all over Pottstown on his electric wheelchair. He was little gruff on the edges but was a kind giving person, He enjoyed shopping at Walmart and Redners and having a few drinks with some of his friends. Recently, Brad stopped drinking and was proud trying to change his habits. Brad loved his family and always kept in touch on a daily basis with his brothers Kevin and Mark.
His parents, Kenneth A. and Jean Ann Ludwig (Motko), brother Brian D. Ludwig, and his sister, Stacey Lois (Ludwig) Perry all predeceased him.
Left to cherish his memory are his brothers; Kevin A. Ludwig and his wife Carol, Mark D. Ludwig and his wife Lori plus his nieces and nephews. He was also survived by many friends and family.
Family and friends are invited to Celebration of Life on June 27 at 3PM in Warker~ Troutman Funeral Home , Inc. 726 East High Street Pottstown, PA 19464. Brads Family will be receiving family and friends from 2pm till 3pm at the funeral home.
