Bienvenido Tellado

Bienvenido "Mike" Tellado, 64, of Telford PA, passed away on April 13, 2022, peacefully in his sleep.

Mike was born in Lares Puerto Rico on October 11, 1957. He lived most of his life between Lansdale, PA and Telford, PA but loved all his family in Puerto Rico and had the chance to visit them recently before his passing.

Mike proudly served in the Army Reserve for 4 years and was honorably discharged in 1985. He began his career with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation on October 12, 2010. He worked tirelessly as a Transportation Equipment Operator. While with the Department of Transportation, he was an essential part of numerous specialized crews including but not limited to the crack seal crew, which he was part of a team that received the 2017 Governor's Go Time Award), paving crew, base repair crew, Interstate brine crew and an Interstate snow removal operator.

Mike enjoyed and excelled at was as the lowboy operator for Montgomery County 6-4. Mike took great pride to always ensure the lowboy and the trailer were always ready and in show condition. If he was not busy working on the road, you could find him polishing every square inch of the chrome on the lowboy; his pride and joy.

He was beloved by not only his coworkers in Montgomery County 6-4 but also in Engineering District 6-0. During his time there, he found co-workers who became friends and friends who became his second family. Mike, also was known fondly by his co-workers as "The Russian." He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Mike is survived by his daughter Amy Schoen (Moore-Tellado), three granddaughters, Ava Schoen, Elizabeth Schoen and Madison Schoen; step-son Anthony Baciocco; his parents Bienvenido and Carmen Tellado; his mother Margarita Morales; siblings Zoraida Tellado Morales, Alfredo Tellado Morales, Madeline Ramos Morales, Janette Tellado Morales, Adner, Quiles Morales, Daiana Quiles Morales, Maria Quiles Morales, Sandra Quiles Morales, Jesse Tellado, Glendalys Delgado (Tellado); and many nieces, nephews and cousins. All of these he loved and touched deeply.

Mike will always be remembered as a wonderful friend who do anything for anyone. He enjoyed playing video games, heavy metal rock and especially loved to cook and eat all kinds of exotic foods. Mike was goofy, fun and had the ability to put a smile on everyone's face with his infectious laugh.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 10 A.M. at the Warker~Troutman Funeral Home Inc Pottstown, PA. Friends may visit from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. prior to service.
