Betty Guardiani

Betty Guardiani, 92, of Philadelphia, PA and formerly of Sanatoga, PA passed away at Tucker House Nursing Home, Philadelphia, PA on Wednesday May 31, 2017. Born in Crucible, PA she was the daughter of the late Cesidio and Domenica (DeCarlo) Guardiani. She had been an Inspector in the shipping department for Dohler-Jarvis Company formerly of Stowe, PA for 38 years until her retirement in in 1981. Betty was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II . Betty was a former member of St. Aloysius R.C.C., Pottstown, PA. She was a beloved Aunt who gave to the Salvation Army & Catholic Charities for special needs children. She was very generous with her time and money. Surviving are two nieces Grace Kalbach wife of Ralph of Lock Haven, PA and Judy Scott wife of Craig of Reading, PA , She is also survived by two cousins Mary Guardiani and Libby Guardiani both of Staten Island, New York and other nieces and nephews and great-nieces. She was also pre-deceased by a nephew Joseph Guardiani of New Jersey. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C. 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA on Tuesday June 6, 2017 at 1:30 P.M. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Township. A Viewing will be Tuesday from 12:30-1:30 P.M. in the Gathering Center of St. Aloysius R.C.C. .
