Benita J Adams

Benita J. (Holmes) Adams, 95, wife of the late Eugene W. Adams, passed away Monday, November 29,

2021 at Vista Inpatient Hospice at Nazareth Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Rachel (Hartegan) Holmes. She was born in Kansas City,

raised in the Argentine district and graduated from Argentine High School, Kansas City, Kansas.

She met and married Eugene Adams in 1945 and began a family in 1947, after moving to Merriam,

Kansas. Eugene's business transferred the family to Lafayette Hill, Pa, back to Merriam and finally to

Pottstown.

Benita loved her family and was devoted to them; especially her grandchildren. Some hobbies that she

enjoyed were: Genealogy, golfing, knitting, crafting and sewing. Benita had a green thumb in the garden,

she took pride in her flowers. She was a warm, caring, loving person who will be sincerely missed by all.

Benita is survived by three children: Jim Adams, wife Carolyn of Plano, Tx., Benita J. Holden and Joyce

Weand, husband David, of Pottstown. One daughter-in-law, Patricia Adams, thirteen grandchildren,

nineteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by a son Steven Adams, husband of Patricia and two brothers Robert and William

Holmes.

A service will be held on December 13, 2021 at 11 A.M. at the Warker~Troutman Funeral Home Inc.,

located at 726 E. High St., Pottstown. Friends may call prior to service from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the

funeral home.

Burial will be in Bethel United Methodist Cemetery, Spring City, Pa.
