Barton L Marquette

Barton L. Marquette, 93, husband of Donna (Borgiet) Marquette, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at his residence with his loving family by his side.

He is a son of the late Lawrence Marquette.

Barton is a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean Conflict and in Germany. He made his career as a supervisor at Mrs. Smith's Pies (Foil Division). He was an avid sports fan; Barton would cheer for his Penn State Nittany Lions football team on game day and the Phillies. He enjoyed gardening and holiday decorating.

Along with his loving wife, Donna, he is survived by his children, Karen Marquette, and Michael Marquette (Jill), his sister, Marie Jones, and three grandchildren whom he adored: Emma Stone, Abigail, and Julia Marquette.

He is predeceased by his sister Nancy Lavinia.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. at the Warker ~Troutman Funeral Home Inc, 726 E. High St., Pottstown. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.
